Is it safe to consume meat from a plant that has had cases of COVID-19 among workers? Since COVID-19 has not been shown to be transmissible through food, meat and poultry from the meat plants are safe for consumption. Although coronavirus outbreaks in the facilities are not affecting food safety, they're affecting the supply.
