NBA dodges conspiracy-theory bullet, takes big step toward competition with new draft lottery odds
Arizona Republic sports columnist Greg Moore consults Professor of Economics Dennis Hoffman to sort through the results of the NBA draft lottery.

In a story published May 18, 2019, in the Arizona Republic:
If you’re looking for competitive games, where you kind of get back to the ‘old college spirit,’ where you’re out to win, and you’re gonna play to the end, and you leave it out on the court, certainly, the NBA’s move in this direction is a move that would give you more outcomes like that.
