
Romaine contamination is making other lettuces more expensive
People who want salad or to dress up other foods with it have to pay more as the supply of leafy greens goes down.
Whether the supply of leafy greens is up or down, consumers still want salad or lettuce for adding to a sandwich or tortilla wrap. But when the supply of lettuce is down, the cost goes up.
